All services are open to everyone, free of charge, with no need to book. This page gives some general information about services, accessibility, and what you might want to know before you attend. Please note services are subject to change. For this week's schedule, please see the Services & What's On page.

Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul

Sunday 8am Eucharist: a quiet prayerful service with Holy Communion and a sermon, lasting 30 - 40 minutes. This service is celebrated at the historic High Altar in the East End of the church.

Sunday 10.30am Choral Eucharist: our biggest celebration of the week, celebrated in the main body of the building.

We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with singing, processions, and words that have resonated through the centuries. Incense is used at this service. Except for their Summer break, the Parish Choir and Junior Choir will be singing. This service lasts a bit over an hour, and is followed by tea and coffee and a chance to chat.

Midweek services: peaceful and prayerful services in the Lady Chapel, lasting no longer than half an hour.

Parking: There is no designated parking, but the nearest parking is the Portway Car Park at The Beacon, less than five minutes' walk away (free on Sundays).

Accessibility: there is step-free access to the church and designated wheelchair spaces near the front. There are toilets, including a disabled toilet. We are aware that we need to improve the accessibility of our building, especially the opening of doors, but in the meantime the welcome team will be happy to assist you.

Children in Church: we are an intergenerational community and services are open to people of all ages. At present, children remain in the main worship space throughout the service, and there is an area near the front provided with toys and books for younger children. Many children participate in worship as members of the choir and serving team.

Holy Trinity Charlton

Sunday 9.15am Sung Eucharist: a traditional but relaxed celebration of Holy Communion with hymns and music and a sermon. The service lasts no longer than an hour and is followed by coffee and cake.

Saturday 4pm: A simple service without music, often with a sermon, for those unable to attend on a Sunday. The service alternates between the Vigil (Holy Communion) and a service of Evening Prayer.

See the Services this Week for dates

Tuesday 7pm Eucharist: A simple service of Holy Communion. There is a Bible Study before the service from 5.45pm, with refreshments from 5.30pm.

Parking: There is a free public parking area by the Church. This usually has space on a Sunday but can be very busy at other times especially at school drop-off/pick-up times.

Accessibility: The church was recently refurbished and has step free access, automatic doors, and disabled toilets.

Children in Church: Holy Trinity is a small, comfortable space with a relaxed atmosphere. Colouring materials and themed activities are made available for families who want them.
