Come and collect a takeaway meal for you and your family, or eat in in the warm and friendly environment with music, games and activities for children, and cupboard essentials to take-away.

The AROUND TABLE menu is created fresh each week from donations from our charity partners. We will try to be considerate of major dietary requirements where possible. Please ask us about allergens.

WARM SPACE

A gentle and relaxing environment with tea and coffee served from 3pm.

Building community and friendship.

As well as being a project which helps those who are lonely, isolated or finding the cost-of-living crisis challenging, this is also one which helps reduce food waste. The majority of our ingredients are donated by the Oxford Food Hub, the Wantage Community Fridge and Going Green, so by coming along and taking part you are helping make an important environmental impact.

Can you give a couple of hours on a Wednesday?

AROUND TABLE is run entirely by volunteers who are invited to give as much or as little time as they are able. If you would like to know more about what is involved, or would like to offer a particular skill or gift - be that cooking, food prep, serving, hosting, welcoming or washing up etc, we would love to hear from you!

Around Table is fortunate to be partners with Vale Community Impact who will be able to take enquiries about this project as well as offering free, confidential advice fromtrained volunteers on a range of topics including:

benefits entitlement
housing issues
employment rights
consumer issues
debt counselling

They are also a local food bank referral partner.
