There are two churches in the parish: the medieval Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul, near the market place, and Holy Trinity Charlton which was built in the nineteenth century to serve what was then a new part of town. There is a service somewhere in the parish every day, and the Parish Church is open 10am - 12 noon daily.
