BOOK NOW for the Parish Panto! Dick Whittington will be coming to Wantage Parish Church on Saturday 1 March. Shows at 2.30pm and 7pm. £12 adults, £10 concessions, £5 children.
Also coming up Sacred Art Workshop with iconographer Catherine Lomas. Saturday 8 March at Holy Trinity Charlton. Learn about the history, technique and spirituality of icons, followed by a chance to produce your own creative response to scripture. £30 including materials and a light lunch. There are two churches in the parish: the medieval Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul, near the market place, and Holy Trinity Charlton which was built in the nineteenth century to serve what was then a new part of town. There is a service somewhere in the parish every day, and the Parish Church is open 10am - 12 noon daily.
