To mark this year’s Remembrance Sunday, a parade and service will take place in Wantage on Sunday 9th November 2025.
The timings of Sunday are as follows;
10:45 - The parade departs from the Beacon to the War Memorial outside the parish church via church street.
10:55 - A short service will take place, two minutes silence observed and wreaths will be laid at the memorial.
Approx 11:20 - The return parade will leave the church via the Market Place back to the Beacon.
Follow along with the serivce in the church yard please click the link below to the Order of Service. Members of the public are also encouraged to line the routes of the parades.
Later at 2:30pm, the Wantage Festival of Remembrance will take place at the Parish Church.
The event will include contributions from the world class Wantage Silver Band, Wantage In Harmony, and the Wantage Primary Academy Choir. The festival is held in support of the Royal British Legion.
